Grove GMK4100L-1

Mobile Crane

The latest Grove crane release from Conrad is of the 4-axle GMK4100L-1, a 60-metre telescopic crane
with 100 ton lifting capacity that has been expertly crafted into 1:50th scale. Some of the nice features
on the model include the four outriggers which are two-part extending with jacks that have the screw
thread hidden as the jacks are lowered. The pads that click onto the ends of the jacks allow for the pads
to slide off-centre for when the crane is travelling and this works well. Each of the axles can be steered
with a good degree of movement and all wheels are freely rotating.
