It is always interesting when companies change their name and there can be a number of reasons for
this. One such company is the former Terex Trucks who have rebranded their range of articulated
haul trucks with the new name of Rokbak.

T he RA 40 articulated haul
truck is the largest in the
range, with a maximum
payload of 38 metric tons
and a heaped capacity of 23.3
cubic metres. The 444hp Scania
DC13 6-cylinder turbo-charged diesel
engine conforms to the latest emission
standards, powering the Allison
HD4560 fully automatic transmission
with planetary gearing, electronic
control with six forward and one
reverse gear providing a maximum
travel speed of 40mph and a reverse
speed of 4.8mph.
