BELAZ 75710

       3D Mechanical Wooden Model Kit

When it comes to mining, haul trucks don’t get any bigger than the BELAZ 75710, a 450-ton capacity
monster which has been produced as a 1:48th scale 3D mechanical wooden construction kit by Eco Wood
Arts, comprising 453 parts crisply cut from sheets of plywood, all fitting together without the need for glue.

A s with the 75600 wooden kit, the
              instruction book provides detailed
and easy to follow pictorial build
              steps over 54 stages. Additional
parts in the kit include cocktail sticks and
wooden dowels to allow some of the parts to
be joined together, particularly the wheels
which consist of a number of discs, each laid
out slightly differently to recreate a tread
       pattern and this works well.
We start by constructing the chassis over
the first ten build steps before beginning Above:

rubber bands, but a slow and steady pace,
using a metal paperclip to get each of
the rubber bands through the winding arm
eventually comes together and by step 24,
we begin boxing in the main deck, construct-
ing the various upper deck components
       before fitting them into place.
