       Demag AC45

       City Crane

                                           Below:
The compact dimensions of the crane
have been captured well, with great
                                functionality and features.

The Demag AC45 City is a compact, all-terrain mobile crane in the 45-Tonne capacity class, ideally
suited to work in confined spaces with a length of 8.69 metres and a width of 2.55 metres. The main
boom length is 31.2 metres, increasing to 44.2 when using the folding swing-away jib. The crane is
powered by a Mercedes Benz OM936LA diesel engine delivering 348hp and uses an Allison automatic
gearbox with torque converter giving 6 forward and 1 reverse gear.

I MC models has produced a
           high quality 1:50th scale replica
of the AC45 City which really
           captures
                               and
                        details
                    the
        functionality, starting with the chassis
        which has some underside detailing
of the axles, all of which have
        independent steering with the model
available with small or large road
wheels (Personally I prefer the large
tyres which look more in tune with the
        rest of the model).
There are storage racks on each
side of the chassis for the included
metal crane mats, and on the upper
deck on each side are access ladders
that rotate and hinge down to give
access when setting up for lifting

                                                                                          Above:
The carrier has independent steering of
each axle and four extending outriggers
with lowering jacks for a stable base.
