Mobile Material Handler

Sennebogen offer a wide range of material handling solutions
including mobile, crawler and stationary carriers with a choice
of boom, stick and work tool configurations. The 830E material
handler is a versatile option, available in a number of configurations
and it is no surprise that Sennebogen has commissioned a
scale replica, turning to Conrad to implement the machine with
a mobile undercarriage, straight boom, stick and detachable
5-tine cactus grab.

1:50th scale. onto. The undercarriage features a
steering axle which has a fair range
of movement, with each wheel fitted
with double rubber tyres that have a
treaded surface. Silver finished access
steps are located at each end of
the undercarriage frame with the four

outriggers, fitted with pivoting pads,
able to extend down and lift the
model off its wheels. Plastic covers
also extend to keep the hydraulic rams
protected and this works well.
The boom and stick offer an
authentic range of movement, with
the hydraulic cylinders holding the
position well. Hydraulic lines have
been modelled, connecting to each
of the cylinders while at the end of
the stick, they are terminated in a way
that allows then to be easily
connected to the 5-tine cactus grab
which has opening shells and uses a
plastic pin to connect with the stick.
