The Baljer Zembrod company, formed in 1951 in Ebenweiler (Baden-Wü rttemberg, Germany) spe-
cialise in the manufacture of wood working equipment for saw mills and handling equipment for
scrap and waste industries. They have an impressive range of products and it is interesting that they
have commissioned NZG to produce a scale model of one of their scrap and waste handling ma-
chines, the SRK semi-mobile recycling crane, type LGX II.
T he model in 1:50th scale consists of so the main frame of the upper carriage is holes. This allows the cabin to be placed

devoid of any engine and houses a large
a square base with four lowering
separate from the main structure and it is
good to see NZG engineer this functionality,
counterweight at the rear with a side
jacks allowing it to be positioned on
uneven ground. This works well with
place. The cabin interior has been finished
each of the jacks unscrewing to adjust the mounted cabin. What is interesting here is using small magnets to keep the cover in
that the cabin can be detached from the
height. The machine is electrically operated, frame with a cover included to hide the in a dark colour with cream seat. Detailing
