T he Challenger MT867 tracked tractor is based on the Fendt MT model, finished in a
yellow and black decoration and configured to US specification. The decorated cabin interior
leaves nothing to the imagination with printing used to good effect for the side mounted display
screen and instrumentation display on the centre console. Fine detailing includes lights in
the roofline, all highlighted with silver paint, amber beacons, reflector markers, rear-view mirrors, screen
wipers, door handle and grab rails. The cooling grilles in the bonnet really look effective in how they
have been implemented and a different exhaust stack is fitted when compared to the Fendt version.
The bonnet can be lifted to reveal the interior of the engine bay where the engine block and radiator
take centre stage. The rear drawbar hitch uses a pin to lock it in the centre position. With the pin
removed, the drawbar can be positioned to the left or right with working hydraulic cylinders powering
the movement. The hydraulic hook-up connector caps are highlighted in different colours and Above:
