he trailer consists of a fixed container

accommodate the various components
from the LTM1500-8.1 model, complete with
a rear mounted Fassi loading crane which
can be used to position the separately avail-
able Mammoet pool car. All seven axles
have free-rolling wheels which are a little
loose with the six rearmost axles having a
linked steering system which only offers a
very small amount of steering movement.
There is an access ladder fixed in the
lowered position leading up to a platform to
access the crane controls.
The tractor unit is a Mercedes-Benz Arocs
with opening cabin doors, good interior

When working at a job site, it is usual for
a pool car to be used to transfer the workers
between job site and accommodation, and
it is interesting to see the release of a resin
1/50 scale replica, complete with lifting
frame to allow the car to be transported on
the back of a ballast trailer. The model is
static and comes screwed to a plastic base
with lifting gear already connected, ready to
pose being lifted.
