Joy mining, founded in 1919 by Joseph Joy is now part of Komatsu, producing a range of mining
equipment including Room & Pillar, Longwall Systems, Hard Rock equipment and conveyor
systems. There are not many models of underground mining equipment, so it is always refreshing
to see a new release in this field. Fans of underground mining will not be disappointed with the
very impressive 1:50th scale release from Weiss Brothers of the 12CM27 continuous miner, a
model produced with a high metal content and plenty of features to look over.
