        When it comes to mini-cranes, also referred to as spider cranes for their ability to work in confined spaces
        where standard cranes cannot be deployed, there are not many examples in model form so it was
        refreshing to see a model of the Maeda MC815C tracked spider crane appear at the Bauma. With a
        lifting capacity of 8 ton and maximum working radius of 18.8 metres, the MC815 C has impressive specs,
       with a max lifting height of 19.6 m increasing to 25.5 m with fly jib. Power comes from a Yanmar

       4TNV88C-NMB 2.1 litre diesel engine and the hydraulic motor drive with stepless speed changer
       traverses the vehicle up to 3.2km/h in either direction.
