Right:
The Komatsu GD655-6 is a
nice update to the earlier re-
leases of the same model.

The GD655-6 model in 1:50th scale has some nice features, particularly the blade which has a fair range
of movement. The blade can slide along the frame to extend on either side with the blade also able to
tilt a little. The moldboard allows the blade to be rotated and the main lift hydraulics allow the entire
frame to be raised, lifting the blade off the ground.

T he front axle is modelled to in-
clude the tiny hydraulics to
control the camber of the
wheels and there is a little
movement for this, while there is
also some steering movement. This is
satisfactory considering the intricate
nature of the system when scaled to
