W elcome to the first issue of a new venture, Truck, Plant
& Machinery Model World magazine, dedicated to
providing news, reviews and interesting stories in
the world of construction, lifting, mining and heavy haulage scale
models. Following IGP’s decision to stop producing the Plant &
Machinery model world magazine title, I have decided to produce
my own magazine as a replacement, with the plan to publish 4

issues per year, both a 76 page printed magazine and a 68 page

Anyone who has read the Plant & Machinery title will be familiar with the www.tpmmagazine.co.uk
type of content that will feature in the new magazine, with a brand-new look
and exclusive content alongside the various model reviews including collector

profiles, show reports, model previews, how-to articles and factory visits.

One of the main problems with a bespoke title like TPM is the costs involved
in having the magazine stocked in shops and newsagents, something which
has been an issue in the past, so I will be selling the magazine directly from
the magazine’s dedicated website (www.tpmmagazine.co.uk) where you can
purchase individual copies and yearly subscriptions delivered straight to your
door. There are several companies that will be supporting the magazine by
selling it in their geographical region and these authorised stockists are listed
lower down this page.

I hope you enjoy looking through the first issue and I would welcome any
comments, thoughts and ideas you may have on how to make the new Truck,
Plant & Machinery Model World magazine even better.
