Sennebogen 860M Wheeled Material Handler

The Sennebogen 860 is a versatile machine ideally suited for the handling and loading of various materials at scrap yards and dock sites with different undercarriage options including tracked, wheeled and stationary all available, powered by a powerful Cummins QSM11 C360 diesel engine generating 364hp.

The D series 860M mobile material handler is based on a 2-axle wheeled undercarriage with four point outriggers which lower and have pivoting pads, allowing the entire machine to be raised off the ground. One axle has working steering with the wheels fitted with double rubber tyres that have a fine moulded tread pattern. Both sides of the chassis have silver finished metal steps giving easy access for the operator.

The cabin is mounted to an arm allowing it to be hydraulically elevated and this works well, with the cab remaining horizontal through the full range of movement. The interior houses the driver’s seat and controls including the central column with steering wheel while the outer frame has grab rails, screen wipers and a rear view mirror with a highlighted door handle and Max Cab printing.

The collector has the option of fitting the side access platform with integrated safety railings or blocking the holes with the included plastic parts which is another nice touch from NZG.

The model is fitted with a standard scrap handling stick which has a 5-tine cactus scrap grab attached to the end, complete with flexible hydraulic hoses.

The metal grab is fairly heavy with green panels inserted into the frame which have tiny Sennebogen markings. The grab will open and close smoothly with good structural detailing of each tine.

The upper carriage has holes where the metal safety railings need to be fitted while metal grab rails are located on the lower side for easy access to the upper works.

This is a different design to the ladder fitted to the two tracked versions wityh a smaller lower platform. The hydraulic distribution block has been replicated with good surface engraving of the panels and walk areas with flexible hoses fitted to the back of the boom

The paint finish is of a very high standard with the covering allowing the surface casting details to be seen with printing used to highlight the panel handles and catches.

Printing of the Sennebogen markings are crisply applied. This is one of three different replicas based on the 860 base machine with both the 860R-HD and 860R tracked handlers also produced by NZG and available from the Sennebogen Online Shop.
