New Holland F156.7A Motor Grader
Presented here is the 1:50th scale New Holland F156.7A motor grader which has been produced by Motorart, one of a number of new releases from Motorart in the New Holland line.
The model has a number of nice features including the opening engine housing which is hinged and opens up to reveal the sparsely replicated, single colour interior. The shaping of the grill cut-outs has been done well and enhances the appearance.
The cabin interior is better, with a grey colour and fitting of the operator controls with hinged doors on each side opening to give a better view of the large cabin. One noticeable error is that the safety grab rail with integrated rear view mirror is only located on one side of the cabin where on the real machine, these grab rails are fitted to both sides.
The rear bogies have oscillation with fenders located above the wheels while the front axle features angular and steering movement.

The front blade lowers and interestingly, there is printing on the blade which appears to be another cock-up, maybe because the reference images for the model’s development were taken at a trade show.

The rear 5-tine ripper can be lowered and the main blade has rotation and height adjustment and appears to have sliding adjustment of the blade but this is non-functional on the review sample. |
The paint finish is to a high level with printing of the New Holland name on the sides of the frame with the machine designation printed on the sides of the engine compartment. Another version of the tooling has been produced as the Case 856C which has several slight casting changes.
