Weycor AR65E Wheel Loader

At the 2016 toyfair, NZG announced updated versions of two Atlas Weycor models, with the difference to the previous versions being the updated Weycor markings. Interestingly, the AR65E (Item 884) was announced a year ago, but the model was never actually released, so while it appears as an update, it is actually a new release. Weycor is a brand name for Atlas Weyhausen GmbH who has over 50 years of excellence in wheel loader design and development. The reason for the logo change appears to be because of trademark issues with the rights held by Atlas Maschinen GmbH.

The main rear chassis, body and cabin castings of the AR65 appear to be the same as the AR75E T with the rear engine cover lifting up a little to reveal the modelled interior which consists of the engine block and associated components.  Rear facing lights are integrated into the curved counterweight and have painted lenses and the contours of the rear bonnet have been accurately captured, with inset surface engraving highlighting the grills and ridges.

The cabin has a replicated interior highlighting the various components including the central console with steering wheel while the exterior of the cabin has grab rails, rear view mirrors and screen wipers, not forgetting the highlighted rubber window seals.

The front chassis is a different design with conventional loader arms and Z-kinematic bucket linkage fitted.

The bucket is attached to the arms with removable pins, allowing it to be removed.

NZG has released a set of pallet forks as an accessory which can be connected to the coupler mounted to the loader arms.

The underside has a drive-shaft to the front axle with articulating steering powered by a single hydraulic. The axles have good surface detailing with ridge treaded rubber tyres fitted to the grey hubs which themselves have good replication of the bolt heads. The AR65E is shown below alongside the Weycor AR75E T telescopic loader.
