Volvo L60E, L70E & L90E Wheeled Loaders
This is the new Volvo L60E wheeled loader from MotorArt Collectable Models. It is finely detailed as we have come to expect from the new series of Volvo models. This is the first wheeled laoder where the engine compartment does not open . There are numerous handrails and small details which add to the realism of the model. The L60E, like the L70E & L90E models is supplied with four work tools which connect to the quick coupler mounted to the loader arms. The tools consist of bucket, pallet forks, log grapple and handling arm.
This is the Volvo L70E wheeled loader which shares the same casting as the L60E. The only difference is the marking on the rear bonnet .
This is the Volvo L90E which again shares the same casting as the L60E and L70E.
These models have been eagerly anticipated for months and I have to say that they are very dissapointing. Firstly, the loader arm hydraulics are very loose, so you cannot position the arms without them falling down. The bucket tilt linkage is loose and does not work properly. There are no casting differences between the L60E, L70E and L90E models and there are no opening engine compartments. While the models look good on a shelf, I do not believe they are worth a retail price of £40 each when compared to the larger wheel loaders, especially as they are the exact same castings so should be cheaper to manufacture.
