Volvo FM Aggregate Tipper
Presented here is the 1:50th scale Volvo FM 4-axle tipper from Corgi in the Malcolm Construction Services livery.

The front grill has a ridged texture with the Volvo logo centrally placed across the grill. Large driving lights are integrated into the lower bumper with painted indicator lights and a printed number plate. The cab interior is visible through the windows and self-fitting rear view mirrors are supplied in the bos and need fitting.

The dump body is hinged and tips to a fairly decent height with a pivoting tailgate which has some very good detailing of the non functional flaps and locking bar. |
The curved plastic cover fixed to the dump body is a nice addition to the model and while it is possible to remove it, the inside of the body has not been modelled and shows the fixing screws holding the body together.
The chassis is a rather basic and simple casting with no functional steering or suspension, although this is typical of a Corgi model where the effort is in the decoration of the model, not the functionality and the paint finish and colours of the Malcolm group have been reproduced very well.
This is a good model in the Malcolm Construction Services range and is displayed below alongside the Komatsu WA500 giving an impression of scale against the large wheel loader.
