Scania with King 5-Axle Low Loader Trailer
Presented here is the 1:50th scale Scania 3-axle truck with 5-axle King low loader in Malcolm Construction Services livery. The paint finish and decoration on the tractor is very good indeed, as is expected from Corgi who produce some stunning company liveries.

The large neck of the trailer can be desconnected from the trailer frame with fold down ramps allowing easy loading of equipment. Holes in the front frame allow for the coiled service lines to be connected which is a nice touch on the model. |

The rear trailer frame is very basic in comparison with today's trailer replicas from WSI, Sword, Tekno, NZG and Conrad and this is an area of Corgi models that could be much better. |

The Scania tractor is decorated well with an amber light bar on the roof along with crisp cab castings that show the grill detailing and cab access steps. It is pictured below alongside the newer Volvo FH tractor which demonstrates the differences between the old and new corporate livery.
