The front wheels have working steering with a good degree of movement and the front and rear axles have a driveshaft connected to the transfer box. A fuel tank is fitted to the side of the frame and the exhaust is visible beneath the chassis.

The GMC chassis is painted in U.S Army green with prominent markings on the engine cover and front bumper.

The model features an open cab design with plastic roof simulating the tarpaulin material used on the real truck.

There is also a small window in the rear section. The cab interior has been replicated including the bench style seating, steering console with steering wheel and foot pedals.
