Linde K Very Narrow Aisle Combi-Truck
Presented here is the 1:25th scale Linde K modular VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) combi-truck from Conrad. The Linde K is an ideal solution to warehousing needs, featuing the ability to operate as a stock picker or a storage device with a capacity of 1500kg. the unit is battery powered with different cabin options depending on the handling requirements while different height masts satisy headroom requirements.
The model has some very good features like the cabin area which has been modelled with a front control panel authentically decorated with coloured switches and display screen which can be tilted for easy access depending on if the operator is standing or seated.

The centrally located seat has a folding lower section allowing unobstructed operator movement during stock picking activities and the floor panel has a textured anti-slip surface. |
The front and side glazing has been added to the cabin frame and the upper protective canopy has large integrated rear view mirrors on both sides which have a silver painted surface. |

The entire cabin raises up along the mast which features a telescopic section allowing a good height to be obtained. The mast is sturdy with structural elements accurately modelled and two functional hydraulic cylinders to raise the telescopic mast. A plastic pallet is included in the box for added posing possabilities.

The forks are mounted to a frame which allows height adjustment and 180 degree rotation while this in turn is mounted to a sliding frame which can traverse across the width of the unit, allowing the forks to pick pallets on either side of the chassis.

This mechanism works very well and has enough resistance to hold the chosen position while the individual metal forks can be adjusted in pitch as required. |
The body has captured the sleak contours of the full sized unit with good definition of the various panels and a very good paint finish with crisply applied Linde logos. The underside has two main rolling wheels which have authentic looking rubber tyres while the rear wheel has functional steering.
