Liebherr L586 X-Power Wheel Loader

Presented here is the updated L586 wheel loader from NZG. The L586 X-Power wheel loader is the largest machine available in the range, powered by a Liebherr D936 A7 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 354hp. It tips the scales at 32.6 ton with a bucket capacity around 6 cubic metres.

The 1:50th scale model features the latest X-Power styling including the new cabin design and curved engine housing. Both sides of the bonnet have plastic grill inserts with a dimpled surface. Metal safety railings run along both sides of the engine bay and curve inwards towards the rear.

The engine housing has inset rear lights with the centrally mounted exhaust pipe which has a silver finished underside. The tyres, like its predecessor, have the Goodyear branding on the side walls with a slotted style tread pattern.

The loader arms and Z-bar bucket linkage have an authentic range of movement, while the articulating chassis has hydraulic steering rams and drive-train fitted with access steps providing cabin access on both sides. The L586 X-Power is shown below loading the Liebherr TA230 articulating haul truck.
