Kleemann Mobiscreen MS 703 EVO Mobile ScreenerThe triple-deck MS 703 EVO has an hourly output of 350t/h with an upper deck screening surface area of 7m2. The short setup times and favourable transport dimensions meet the demands of contractors with the high output due to the good material flow through the plant, starting with the infeed with its generously sized hopper which can be loaded by wheel loader or an upstream crushing plant. The 1200mm wide feeding conveyor transports the material to the screen casing where an impact plate on the discharge spreads out the material evenly onto the screen surface, thus reducing wear whilst increasing throughput. Conrad has once again been chosen to produce an accurate and functional 1:50th scale replica of the triple deck Kleemann MS 703 EVO screener which is presented here. As with the Mobicone crusher previously released, the screener features an all-metal frame with a tracked undercarriage utilising single plastic track bands which do look realistic and are resilient. The unit can be shown in a transport configuration with the entire screening deck lowered and the side conveyors disconnected, making an interesting low loader load although this is not accurate to the original in which all the screens can be folded with the fixed angle conveyors pivoting sideways on the real machine. It is easy to see why this is not presented on the model which would result in a very complex solution and would no doubt add extra cost to the project so having the conveyors detachable is a sensible compromise. When erected, the screen is hydraulically lifted into position with a full length rubber belt transferring material from the hopper to the top of the deck. The three side mounted conveyor frames, complete with flexible rubber belts, lock into place on the sides of the chassis with one of them, the largest size grade output is able to rotate in an arc which allows the material to be fed back to the crusher for reprocessing. Anyone with the Mobicone MCO 9 cone crusher model can now set up the screener to feed the return conveyor of the MCO9 which is a nice addition to the model.
The sides of the triple screen deck show the vibration motors and suspension springs with silver printing used to good effect. |
