Kleemann Mobicone MCO 9 EVO Cone Crusher

Following on from the Impact and Jaw crusher models, Kleemann has now commissioned a 1:50th scale model of their Mobicone MCO 9 EVO cone crusher which is the perfect match to the Mobicat MC 110 Z EVO already available from NZG. The MCO 9 EVO can be used as a secondary or tertiary crushing plant with a feed capacity of up to 260 ton/h. It weighs in at 28 ton with a 4.5m3 hopper capacity (Increased to 5.5m3 with the optional hopper extension). The D3C crawler chassis provides excellent manoeuvrability while power is provided by the Scania powerpack with diesel-direct-electric drive concept. The KX200 Cone crusher has a 950mm diameter and a capacity from 80 to 260 Ton/h depending on aggregate size.

The new model has been produced by Conrad and is once again an impressive piece, constructed predominantly from metal with a high weighted feel. The chassis has a tracked undercarriage with a single plastic track band which does look realistic when compared to the real machine.

The engine housing is fairly simplistic in design and has been captured well, with an access ladder leading to the upper service area on both sides.

The cone crusher housing is located centrally and has structural ribbing details with a grey coloured cone inner and self-fit sensor bar while the light pole also needs fixing into place. An observation platform is fitted to the chassis with a stairway leading to it, finished with authentic scaled metal safety railings.

The main feed conveyor is connected on a sliding system which allows it to lower during transport and this is operated by a single hydraulic ram. The inside of the hopper has a deflection bar to prevent damage to the rubber belt and the extension section for the hopper can be fitted as required.

One interesting addition in the box is an external return conveyor and associated frame parts which are used when the crusher is connected with a screener to return oversized material back into the hopper, as shown below.
