Jungheinrich ERC 216 Electric Pedestrian Stacker
Presented here is the 1:25th scale Jungheinrich ERC 216 electric pedestrian stacker from Conrad. The ERC 216 has a lifting capacity up to 1.6 ton with a 24-volt 3-phase AC drive motor, fold down platform and side arms for ride-on operation and electronically controlled lift motor for smooth and quiet lifting precision.
The model is sturdy and constructed well with a substantial amount of metal used throughout. The tiller controller is adjustable in height with rotation simulating the movements of the full sized machine to control the travel direction of the stacker with very nicely engineered handles, complete with green thumb controls and red safety stop button.

The model can be displayed in a ride-on configuration by unfolding the side bars to prevent the operator from falling off the stacker during cornering and lowering the pivoting floor plate which has a textured anti-slip surface.
The lift mechanism is controlled with a rope so, as the boom extends using two small diameter hydraulic rams, the forks rise uniformly through the full height range. |

The central part of the frame houses the battery compartment which has a lift up cover revealing the modelled batteries with connecting leads within, another great touch from Conrad showing excellent attention to detail. |
For safety, a clear plastic screen is fitted to the mast to prevent items falling onto the control area which also houses a small storage area and a finely printed keypad and display panel.
The front structural frame has twin rollers fitted which do actually roll while underneath the main body of the stacker, there is a single main drive wheel which can be rotated to demonstrate the steering ability of the stacker and a smaller diameter rotating support wheel.

The model is painted in the authentic colours of Jungheinrich with accurate placement of the company markings on the sides of the frame and across the rear body panel along with the stacker's type. The model is packed in a two section polystyrene carton with printed outer cardboard sleeve and is supplied with a plastic pallet.
