JLG T350 Towed Boom Lift
Presented here is the 1:32nd scale JLG T350 towed boom lift model. This is an interesting piece of kit and has been specifically designed for the hire companies and DIY enthusiast. The T350 trailer mounted boom has a standard ball and socket connection which allows it to be towed behind a vehicle and features anauto-leveling system which is operated with a single switch. Air and water lines are fitted as standard allowing the platform to be used with numerous tools including air compressors and pressure washers while power is provided by the four 6v batteries or an external 24v DC electrical supply or 9 hp Honda gasoline engine. The boom has an elevated height of 35' with a lifting capacity of 500 lb while the chassis has an overall width of 4' 9"

The hitch is authentically reproduced complete with simulated winding handle and castor style wheel which is free rolling and rotates through 360 degrees.
There are electrical cables running the length of the chassis and power for the boom lift is achieved from a standard 24volt DC electrical supply. |

The four fold down stabilisers have stiff hydraulic pistons which can be realistically posed to suspend the chassis off the ground. The rear of the model features brake light housings with simulated red lenses while black plastic mud guards are fitted to the chassis above the freely rotating wheels which have rubber tyres with an authentic road tread pattern molded into them |

The basket is plastic and finished in an authentic metallic silver colour with accurately placed warning and operating labels and reproduced console complete with joystick and handrail.
One interesting feature of the T350 model is the ability to remove the basket and replace it with a lifting hook. This is achieved by removing the pin which holds the basket in place. |

The lifting hook is then pinned in place and in this configuration, the boom can be used to lift materials into position safely.
Access to the chassis mounted controls is obtained by taking off the removable cover which is molded in plastic with the JLG logo embossed on the top cover. |

The main hydraulic cylinder is nice and stiff allowing the boom to be positioned in any height chosen. The boom features a single stage telescopic section which extends smoothly and has a simulated hydraulic cable housing fitted to the side, just like the real machine. The base ring allows a full 360 degree rotation of the boom and electrical components are all faithfully reproduced on the boom mounting frame
The model is finished in the striking orange and cream corporate JLG colours with authentic JLG logos on the boom. The packaging consists of a clear plastic inner carton which securely holds the model. The outer cardboard box has an open front so the model can be seen while the back of the box features pictures of the real machine in use. This is one of the second series of models released by JLG and has the part number 79939.
