JLG 260-25 Liftlux Scissor Lift
The 260-25 Liftlux scissor lift from JLG features a maximum elevated platform height of more than 90 ft and a capacity of 1000 kg. The hydraulically powered deck extension provides a large work area 2.5 metres wide. Powred by a Deutz BF4L2011 diesel engine, the 260-25 can be driven at full extension for greater productivity and has oscilating axles for greater terrain performance. The 1:32nd scale model from JLG is a monster and captures the realism of the full sized machine.
Each scissor section is made of metal and gives the model a substantial weight when compared to the other JLG models and the massive hydraulic cylinder permits the platform to be adjusted to any height. There is also a mechanism built into the chassis which helps to keep the platform raised.

Each side of the model has two opening engine compartment doors which have hydraulic cylinders permitting the doors to remain in the open position on their own. Inside the compartment are the detailed engine block, hydraulic and fuel tanks and electrical systems, complete with flexible cables and hoses. |

The top platform features painted anti slip floor panels with an extending side section which can be pulled out giving a larger working area. The side mounted controls are reproduced next to the entry gate and all safety railings and grab rails have been added. |
The platform can be extended to an insane 34" in height which makes this model the largest scissor lift model available on the market.

The opposite end of the chassis has a fully working steering linkage with hydraulic cylinder, complete with hose detailing giving a firm feel to the movement while the freely rotating wheels are well detailed and fitted with authentic rubber tyres. |
The four outriggers have screw threaded jack legs which can be lowered to give the model a firm level footing when the platform is at full extension. The rear of the chassis features a fixed axle with authentic rubber tyres fitted to the silver finished wheels. |

The model is massive and is shown below next to the 3394RT scissor lift model to give an impression of the shear size of the Liftlux 260-25.
The packaging consists of a clear plastic inner carton which securely holds the model. The outer cardboard box has an open front so the model can be seen while the back of the box features pictures of the real machine in use. This is one of the first series of models released by JLG and has the part number 79949.
