Hamm 3412 HT Single Drum Compactor

Presented here is the exclusive edition 1:50th scale Hamm 3412 single drum compactor in Eurovia livery from NZG. The level of detail found on the model is very good, with working articulation, a free rolling drum and a replicated cab interior.

The large rubber tyres at the rear have an intricate tread pattern that is designed to reduce damage to the surface and this has been accurately moulded with a sloping rear body shape giving the operator a good view to the rear with black highlighted crisply cast engine grills with accurate Eurovia markings.

The front frame has functional articulated steering with a limited amount of movement, powered by two hydraulic cylinders with a freely rotating smooth faced drum.

The cab has large glazed windows with windscreen wiper and rear view mirrors all fitted to the cab frame. The interior has been modelled with the drivers seat and controls visible while grab rails and front facing work light housings are fixed to the cab frame.

Supplied in a polystyrene inner carton with outer printed cardboard box, the model is another addition to the growing range of 1:50th scale Vinci Group models, pictured above alongside the Mercedes Axor with Breining spreader body and below with the Vogele Super 3000-2 tracked paver.
