Fenwick N20 Stock Picker

Presented here is the 1:25th scale Fenwick N20 stock picker from Conrad. The N20 stock picker is battery powered with a capacity of up to 620Ah with a 3kW drive motor and automatic braking with an electromagnetic safety brake activating when the stop button is pressed or the operator exits the platform.

An accessories pole is supplied in the box allowing the pivoting clip board to be attached behind the seat back. The clip can be rotated and the height of the clipboard can be adjusted. The upper cover of the battery compartment has a recessed area which is used for the storage of shrink-wrap, pens, markers and other picking accessories.

The twin-grip controller has been accurately modelled and rotates, simulating the steering operation of the truck with red thumb controls on each side highlighted, allowing single handed operation while the emergency stop button has also been added. The storage area above the footwell is accurately contoured with good surface detailing.

A metal bar is fitted to the front of the unit with a contoured backrest for operator comfort and a finely textured floor panel. The main body castings are metal with visible surface ridges of the cooling areas with crisply printed Fenwick name and machine type.

The battery housing has a detachable upper cover revealing a plastic moulding of the different battery modules with small raised bars linking the cells together. The underside of the model has a rotating main drive wheel with twin small rollers at the rear of the long forks, allowing multiple pallets to be used. The Fenwick N20 is an interesting and accurately modelled replica with a high quality paint finish.
