Liebherr R916 Tracked Excavator with MSD 2500 Shear

This model has been modified by removing the stick from the boom and replacing it with a white metal Labount MSD2500 shear kit which was obtained from Gaz Evans.

The shear is supplied pre-assembled and unpainted. The pins can be removed to assist in painting and once dry, the attachment can be re-assembled and attached to the base model. In this case, the shear has been painted in the Liebherr grey colour to match the undercarriage.

The conversion is very simple and looks effective and the base model is heavy enough for it to stay upright wityh the shear at full extension.
