** The Nikl Scale Models Collection **
Nikl Scale Models is a small home run business which began 6 years ago when Jason Nikl began making custom models for his collection. As these custom models were highlighted, more and more collectors cantacted him asking for their own custom models and the business really took off. Today, he is busy producing a vast range of different custom items including a range of attachments, some of which are highlighted below. The attachments are cast from resin and have plenty of detail and good functionality. The Montabert hydraulic hammer range consists of three sized hammers, the smallest V32 for 20+ ton, the V55 for 50+ ton and the V65 for 80+ ton excavators. All three are direct pin-on connection replacing the original attachment and have good surface detailing, finished in authentic colours.
Two new ripper tooth attachments have been produced to fit 40+ ton excavators, one with a quick coupler style adaptor to fit the Caterpillar 336E model from Norscot while a slightly larger ripper tooth with a direct pin-on adaptor plate is also available. Both have good surface and structural detailing.
A new construction fork attachment to fit the range of Tonkin Replicas Caterpillar 950K, 966K and 972K wheel loaders has been released, consisting of the frame with Fusion compatible coupler bracket allowing quick connection to the model with pitch adjustable forks.
Another new attachment is a 4-disc compaction wheel which is again designed to fit onto excavators in the 40+ ton class, using a direct pin-on adaptor plate. The individual wheels have good detailing with padded tips and the frame incorporates a blade for back-filling duties

NSM870SS Stick mount scrap shear to fit the Hitachi ZX870. The attachment has plenty of detail with a 360 degree rotating body and fully functioning jaw hydraulic. The cutter blade detailing is very good with small fixing bolt recesses and the body has raised panels with highlighted bolt heads. |

NSM870QC Quick coupler for Hitachi ZX870. can be used with items NSMB016,NSMB019 & NSM870R. The coupler has a slotted front edge which connects with the bar of the attachment. a metal pin is then inserted to lock the attachment in position. A lifting eye has been integrated into the casting to allow lifting operations to be depicted. |

NSMB016 HD Bucket for Hitachi ZX870 (Fits NSM870QC quick coupler) The bucket has very crisp wear plate detailing on the underside and egdes with four large shaped teeth and ridged edges on the upper parts of the bucket face. This is a good alternative to the bucket supplied with the ZX870 model and gives it a more rugged appearance. |
