Custom Models - The Scammell S24 Heavy Tow Truck

This is a 1:48th scale white metal kit of the Scammell S24 heavy tow truck from ASAM Models.

This is an older model and like the other kits available, assembly is relatively straight forward with good instructions and exploded diagrams making the identification of all the parts a breeze. As with the other heavy tow models, this will feature the same grey and white colour scheme with Alstom markings

The model was relatively easy to solder although care is needed with the more intricate parts like the cab sides.

The chassis and rear box have been painted with decals added. The cab still needs a final coat of paint and then the internal cab components need assembling.
