Custom Models - The Cat 854G Wheeled Dozer
This is a model that I have now finished. It is a kit to convert the Cat 992G wheeled loader model from Norscot into a 854G wheeled dozer model.
The kit was available in 2 versions, the standard one contains the parts required to construct the dozer without replacing the hand railings. The deluxe version also included new white metal railings.

This picture shows the rear of the model. I stripped the original model down before painting it in the 2 tone white/blue colours shown. The hand railings are white metal which have been painted blue to match the blue walkways. |
The complete front end of the model is provided in the kit. I have added additional hydraulic hose detail between the engine and the front assembly. The blade hydraulics also feature full hydraulic detail and the blade can be adjusted with the lift and tilt cylinders.
