Custom Models - The Komatsu 730 with dust suppression
This is a model that I have build from a kit by OHS. The Conrad Komatsu 730 dumptruck is used for the base of the model. I have chosen to repaint the model in a two tone colour scheme of blue and white. The dump body was removed and the model diss-assembled ready to be repainted.
The kit consists of the resin tank and various white metal detailing parts and railings. the kit is very easy to build and is then pinned to the base model where the dump body usually connects.

The upper body was finished in white with blue coloured parts. The model is complete with the exception of decals which will be designed at the same time as those for the other blue/white models that I am working on. |
