Caterpillar G3516 Gas Engine

Presented here is the G3516 gas engine in 1:25th scale from Norscot. The model is secured to a black plastic plinth with silver details printed across the front and I have to say, the detail on the engine block looks fantastic.

The Caterpillar G3516 features a 16-valve engine block and 4-stroke, spark ignited cycle with a 7.5inch stroke and 11:1 compression ratio with turbocharged and aftercooled aspiration which is typically found coupled to a generator.

The engine block has been authentically replicated with all intake and exhaust components added along with the electronic control panel and flywheel. The paint finish is excellent with highlighting found on the control panel along with the Caterpillar logo on the engine block.
