1:50th Scale Caterpillar CS-583C Single Drum Compactor

Presented here is the 1:50th scale Caterpillar CS-583C single drum compactor from NZG. The rear wheels have accurately moulded tyres, complete with an intricate tread pattern and plastic wheel hubs along with a textured radiator grill at the rear of the engine bay. 

The enclosed cab has a seat and central control console with steering wheel fitted which is visible through the blue tinted windows. The smooth surface of the metal drum has a silver finish with an articulating frame providing the steering. As well as the version reviewed here, there is also a version of the CS-583C with an open ROPs canopy.
