1:50th Scale Caterpillar CB534D-XW Asphalt Roller

Presented here is the 1:50th scale Caterpillar CB534D-XW asphalt roller from Norscot. The model features rotating roller drums and functional articulated steering of the chassis. The body castings are nicely done with hydraulic drive motor detailing along with cleaning bars and body panels accurately modelled.

There is a fully detailed, open ROPs operator compartment with the control console and seat fitted to a rotating platform which allows the driver to face whichever direction is required. Access steps are integrated into the sides of the body with plastic grab rails fitted to each side. The canopy roof has front and rear facing work lights with silver painted lenses. there are also work and indicator lights highlighted on the lower frame

The paint finish on the model is very good with crisp markings on the sides and above the front and rear wheel drums. As well as the version reviewed here, there is also a version of the model with a fully enclosed cab.
