The boom, stick and bucket have a good range of movement with the stick having cast hydraulic pipe detail along with flexible pipework connected to the bucket and stick cylinders. All the rivets and pins have been painted which greatly adds to the level of realism and even the ends of the pistons have been painted, which is a welcomed touch.

The bucket linkage has a good amount of movement with a very highly detailed digging bucket.

The undercarriage has linked metal tracks with sprung loaded idler wheels and triple grouser pads.

The cab features clear windows with detailed interior, rear view mirrors and scaled hand rails.

Rear view mirrors have also been added to the opposite side of the body along with hand rails and anti slip texture on the upper deck surfaces.

. Each new Norscot model release displays even more attention to detail and realism and this model is no exception. This is a great addition to the Caterpillar model line-up and it is a pity that Norscot don't do some slight casting change when releasing two similar models. It would have been great for the 323D to have had a different attachment to the 320D in addition to the different markings.
