1:50th Scale Caterpillar 24H Grader
This is the new Caterpillar 24H mining grader from Norscot. This model is certainly worth the wait and shows that Norscot can make some fantastic models in 1:50th scale. The level of detail is very high and the sheer size of the model is impressive when lined up against other 1:50th scale models.

The front of the model features fully working suspension and steering which is exceptional for a model of this size. There is also the hydraulic hose detail for the steering system and all the hydraulics for the blade assembly have been added. This is unexpected on a model from Norscot, and I hope it is a sign of things to come. |
The cab interior is faithfully reproduced and has opening doors. The handrails and mirrors are in place and all working lights and windscreen wipers have been fitted.
The rear of the model features working suspension and articulated steering. The engine cover is well detailed and the ripper unit is fully operational with added hydraulic hose detail.
The blade assembly is fully functional, featuring up,down, left and right movement of the blade. The blade can be tilted, rotated and also extended from side to side. The addition of the hydraulic hoses gives even more realism to the model and is impressive from Norscot.
