Volvo L60E Wheeled Loader

Presented here is the 1:50th scale Volvo L60E wheeled loader from MotorArt Collectable Models. It is finely detailed as we have come to expect from the new series of Volvo models. This is the first wheeled loader model from Motorart where the engine compartment does not open and this is a little of a surprise.

There are numerous handrails and small details which add to the realism of the model, which is supplied with four work tools which connect to the quick coupler mounted to the loader arms. The  tools consist of bucket, pallet forks, log grapple and handling arm.

The model is very dissapointing. Firstly, the loader arm hydraulics are very loose, so you cannot position the arms without them falling down. Then the bucket tilt linkage is loose and does not work properly and there are no opening engine compartments. While the model looks good on a shelf, I do not believe they are worth a retail price of £40 each when compared to the larger wheel loaders.
