1:50th Scale Volvo L350F Wheel Loader
The Volvo L350F is the flagship machine in the Volvo wheel loader lineup and is presented here in 1:50th scale from Motorart. Being the biggest wheel loader in the range, there is plenty of scope for a finely detailed model and Motorart have not dissapointed. The front bucket has detailed teeth and edge wear plates with an open grill rock guard fitted to the bucket's top edge. The loader arms raise smoothly and are just about stiff enough to hold their position. The tipping cylinder has full hydraulic pipe detail which is another nice touch and gives the model a more realistic look.

The level of detail on this model is excellent with silver etched entry steps on each side of the body, complete with scaled metal handrails. The articulation is functional and the drivetrain and hydraulic lines have been added between the front and rear assemblies, complete with authentic warning markings and hydraulic cylinders

The rear of the model features a metal etched Volvo logo across the rediator grill and the machine's designation is printed on each side of the bonnet. Access steps and handrails have been added on both sides of the model giving easy access to the opening engine panels on both sides of the body revealing the fully detailed diesel engine block and exhaust components. The panels hinge up and are easy to open due to the grab handles added to each one. |

The cab has a fully detailed operator station complete with all the controls visible through the clear glazed windows. Windscreen wipers and rear view mirrors with reflective surfaces have been added to the exterior and a warning beacon is located on the roof. All the handrails and rear view mirrors are made of metal and there is hardly any plastic detail on the model. This is a great touch from Motorart who usually use plastic for all their detailing on previous models. |
The counterweight has rear facing working lights and authentic warning markings.

The wheels are freely rotating and the wheel hubs have all the bolt heads clearly defined. The rubber tyres are some of the most realistic looking wheel loader tyres I have seen on a model with authentic tread pattern. |
The L350F is another fantastic release from Motorart and with the detail and use of metal for most components, it is well worth the £50 retail price. The model measures 235mm long, 76mm wide and 92mm high and is 570grams in weight.
