1:50th Scale Volvo ECR48C Tracked Excavator
Presented here is the 1:50th scale Volvo ECR48C tracked excavator from Motorart. The model is very similar in size to the previously released EC45 mini tracked excavator.

The cab is highly detailed with interior controls, contoured seat and instrument panel all visible through the clear windows. A windscreen wiper has been added to the front window and a warning beacon has been added to the roof. Even the hydraulic safety cutout lever is visible through the door window. Forward mounted work lights have been added to the cab roof and there is even a roof window panel. Each glazed area has simulated rubber seals which is a nice touch on such a small model.
The oposite side of the upper structure houses the detailed engine block which is revealed by lifting up the opening engine cover.

The undercarriage on the model features detailed drive and idler wheels and a rubber track with detailed tread pattern. The undercarriage also features a functional dozing blade which is used both for leveling ground and to provide stability while digging. The rear of the model has a large cast counterweight and the customary Volvo diagonal stripe across the rear grill. There are even large red safety panels on the rear.
The one piece boom, stick and bucket linkage are riveted together and the rivet heads have been painted over. The bucket is finished with accurate tooth detail and side cutting parts and is fully moveable while the back of the boom has simulated steel hydraulic pipework added.
The paintwork and markings are top notch as is expected from Motorart and the ECR48C is another great addition to the Volvo model fleet.
