Mercedes Benz Unimog 406
Presented here is the 1:32nd scale Unimog 406 truck which has been produced by Weise Toys. From the fully modelled chassis to the cabin interior, the 406 has been expertly realised and packed with detail. The cabin really looks lifelike with wide opening doors revealing a multitude of great interior detailing, from the driver and passenger seating with tiny adjustment knobs included to the door panels which are painted and affixed with handles.

The front console has printed dials with a steering wheel and foot pedals all visible, not to mention the central moulding over the engine channel. The front grill sports the Mercedes-Benz logo with clear plastic light lenses, rear view mirrors, screen wipers and a raised air intake all accurately positioned. |

With branded Continental tyres and a solid tread pattern, the wheels look smart while the rear body has three folding side panels allowing loading on any side or to the rear while a detachable floor plate is included for easy access to the lower chassis, as seen to the left. The body is hinged, allowing it to tip to the side and this is powered by a multi-stage hydraulic cylinder. The communal version does not have the front and rear hitch linkages fitted but the chassis has all the connection points. |
The underside of the model is populated with fine detailing, from the replicated drive-train to both axles with all the suspension system modelled, complete with functional steering of the front axle.
