1:50th Scale Terex Bendini RC45 Rough Terrain Crane
Presented here is another addition to the Terex fleet in the shape of the Bendini RC45 rough terrain crane in 1:50th scale from NZG.

The four outriggers can be extended with screw threaded jack legs allowing the model to be posed with the wheels off the ground for excellent stability. The top deck of the chassis has black painted strips which simulate the anti slip texturing found on the full sized machine which is a nice addition.

The two axles feature functional steering allowing a variety of poses to be achieved including crab steering with metal wheel hubs fitted with rubber tyres that have a realistic looking deep cut tread pattern for superior grip. |
Silver painted ladders have been added to both sides of the chassis giving access to the cab with a white painted engine cover and grey exhaust found at the rear of the chassis along with front and rear light clusters integrated into the chassis which have painted lense detailing.

The superstructure rotates smoothly through 360 degrees with a pair of winches mounted to the rear frame, complete with pre-wound rope and a set of keys are supplied in the box to aid in winding the winches. The large rear counterweight is a single casting securely fitted to the frame with crisp printed logos and safety chevrons on the rear and side faces. The cab has a replicated interior clearly visible through the large glazed windows which have black painted rubber seals and accurately scaled grab rails with a metal windscreen wiper fitted to the front window. |

The five section telescopic boom is fitted with a very stiff cylinder allowing the boom to be positioned at any angle desired and each telescoping section clicks firmly into place. The model is supplied with a main 3-shieve hook and additional headache ball allowing both winches to be used and the model features a single section jib which is secured to the side of the boom and pins in place on the boom head when in use.
The prominent Terex brand is printed on the boom sides and rear counterweight with the machine's designation printed on the sides of the counterweight along with white and red chevron printing on the outriggers and chassis corners. This is another good release from NZG and compliments the other Terex models that have been released.
