1:50th Scale Terex Fuchs MHL454 Material Handler

Presented here is the new Terex Fuchs MHL454 material handler in 1:50th scale from NZG. This is the first in a series of models that are being produced by NZG for Terex and the level of detail is very high.

The undercarriage features four wheel steering with eight rubber tyres fitted to the four wheel hubs. The tread pattern on the tyres is well defined and realistic and the undercarriage has a large front mounted blade that can be raised/lowered providing good stability.

The upper chassis has well defined engine and counterweight castings with work lights, rear view mirrors and flexible hydraulic hose detailing all present. The authentic cast foot panels are painted silver and the high rise cab can be tilted forward into a transport configuration.

The cab has front and roof falling debris protection grill with grab rails, work lights and rear view mirror all present on the cab frame. The interior is fully produced with seat, levers and console all visible through the windows.

The main boom and stick have dark grey hydraulics with flexible pipework adding to the realism while the wood handling grapple is fully functional with opening tines and 360 degree rotation. The model is supplied in a two piece polystyrene carton with outer cardboard box and carries the NZG part no 684
