1:50th Scale Putzmeister SPM500 Concrete Sprayer

Presented here is the Putzmeister SPM500 concrete sprayer from Conrad. The model features four point outriggers which can be lowered to raise the wheels off the ground along with fully functional four wheel steering axles which have detailed wheel hubs and realistic treaded rubber tyres.

The boom features an amazing amount of articulation to allow it to work in the most cramped spaces with the main and end booms having telescoping sections with a 200 degree range of rotation. The detailed spray head has flexible hoses and reproduced nozzle with piping visible down the length of the booms.

The detailed electrical panel has printed safety labels, dials and switches which give a very realistic look to the model. The electrical reel is housed above the electrical cabinet along with two large water tanks above the rear wheels. The rear hopper is mounted low down with a plastic shroud and metal piping travelling along the side of the model to the 270 degree boom mount.

The operator station has a 180 degree rotating seat and steering console which allows operation of the machine in either direction whilst a debris protection frame above the operator prevents injury from falling rocks. The paint finish is excellent with accurate printing and some very realistic plastic water tanks.
