1:50th Scale Sennebogen 305C Telescopic Handler

Presented here is the Sennebogen 'Green Line' 305C telescopic material handler from Ros. The model features a single stage extending boom with quick coupler, pallet forks, waste handling bucket, complete with grapple and a plastic pallet.

The cab features a revolutionary high rise system more comonly found on excavators which allows the cab to be raised in the air to give better visibility around the job site. The cab is detailed throughout with windscreen wipers, roof mounted warning beacon and aerial and simulated debris protection on the side window. Flexible hydraulic hoses are fitted to the cab riser and rear of the boom which is another example of the excellent detail on this model. The cab can be positioned at any height and the cylinder is stiff enough to keep the it where it is positioned.

The undercarriage features working all wheel steer and each wheel is freely rotating with authentic rubber tyres, complete with wheel hubs showing the bolt detail. The Sennebogen logo has been added the the rear counterweight along with the machine's designation and the exhaust is clearly visible at the rear of the model along with wheel blocks cast into the rear boom mounting. The side mounted engine compartment has authentic cooling grill and engine cover handle detail.

The bucket and pallet forks are plastic and connect to the hitch by pressing the four pins into the slots. The waste handling bucket has a movable grapple which can be positioned open or closed and uses the friction of the connecting pins to stay in position. The tipping linkage has been reproduced but there is no cylinder inside the head of the boom so there is not much resistance which is probably why the bucket is made of plastic.

The paintwork is very good with accurate markings all round the model. All the rivet heads have been painted which adds to the realism of the model and is a nice touch. The box features a see through front window with the model securely packed in a two piece polystyrene inner with several tie wraps holding the model securely in place. Ros have again shown that they can produce a very good model with a great level of detail.

One instersting point on this model is that it has been manufactured by Ros but there is a Brami logo printed on the underside of the model.
