1:50th Scale Schwing S31-HT Concrete Pump

Presented here is the Schwing S31-HT concrete pump from Conrad. The model is based on a 3-axle Mercedes Actros chassis with working front wheel steering and detailed rubber tyres fitted to silver wheel hubs. The cab has self-fit rear view mirrors and replicated interior with crisp markings on the cab doors.

The four outriggers can be extended from the chassis and the pads can be lowered to give more stability to prevent the model from toppling over when the boom is at full extension.

The four section boom is unique on this model as it has the ability to extend telescopically. The mechanism is fully functional and is a great touch on the model. The hydraulic cylinders are nice and stiff so the boom can be placed in any position required. The dark green colour scheme of the boom gives a good contrast to the lime green piping and this gives the model a more interesting look from the other Schwing models.

The rear hopper has a detailed grill pattern with plastic surround and the pump cylinders are visible in the centre of the vehicle with green painted piping travelling from the pump to the boom slew ring. The deck has a fold down side panel which is another nice touch on the model and the S31-HT is another great addition to the Schwing fleet.
