** Rumours **
There are rumours that a 1:50th scale JLG model program has been started. The first models rumoured to be in development are the 4013 European telehandler, the G1255A telehandler, the 3394RT scissor lift, the 1250AJP ultra boom lift and the 860SJ telescopic boom lift. There is no news on when the models will be released at this time. There is a rumour that a new 1:50th scale model of a foundation drill is being developed for release at Intermat. NZG are rumoured to be working on a 1:50th scale model of the Liebherr LTM11200-9.1 telescopic crane with a possible release at the Intermat show next year. They are also believed to be producing the new Liebherr PR764 bulldozer. There are persistent rumours that Motorart are working on a demolition version of the EC700 tracked excavator with three piece demolition boom. There are also some new rumours that Volvo are looking to commission models of their concept vehicles like the Centaur ADT, SinX excavator and Gryphin wheel loader. There is a rumour that Soilmec will have another model ready for release next year. It is believed to be a SC120 diaphram wall cutter machine in 1:50th scale. Terex are rumoured to be having a model of one of their site dumpers and a telehandler made. I suspect these are being released by NZG late 2008/ early 2009. There are also rumours of a new mining excavator model for Bauma and the possibility of some crusher / screening models for Intermat next year. The latest rumour regarding the new range of Sandvik models is that there will be a crusher model produced in 2009. This might be an Extec crusher now that they are a part of Sandvik and I know there were plans to have several Extec models made before they were aquired by Sandvik. Case are rumoured to be having 5 or 6 models commissioned for Intermat which are believed to include several new Poclain models.
