1:50th Scale Rottne Solid 12 Forwarder
This is the new Rottne Solid 12 forwarder from Motorart. It is presented in 1:50th scale and is highly detailed throughout. The model features fully operable loading crane, full suspension movement from the wheels and a highly detailed cab and operators compartment.

The rear view of the model shows the loading body. The 2 central supports can be adjusted along the bed and the crane can be positioned in traveling position. Full lighting detail can be seen, including the reflectors on the rear log frame. The log holders are made of plastic and while looking good, you cannot bend them into shape.

The
model comes with 6 molded logs for a more realistic look. The front
entry ladder can be positioned
lowered and the external cab
detail is fantastic, with full window protection and grab rails.
The paintwork is
very good with crisp marking.

There
is only one disappointing issue with the model and that is the limited
movement of the articulated steering.
It does not want to move
more than about 15 Degrees and feels like it will snap if I try
forcing it.
This
is a great release from Motorart and is an example of what can be
done.
Let's hope they make more Rottne models in the future.
