Liebherr R954C Tracked Excavator

This is the Liebherr R954C tracked excavator model in 1:50th scale from Conrad. The body casting has been very well done and includes grill details, walkway grip detail and walkway grab rails. The newly styled cab is highly detailed with handrails, internal controls and working lights. Even the new central lube system has been reproduced behind the cab.

The undercarriage is supperb, with sprung loaded idler wheels and individually linked metal tracks. This is another example of the detail that can be achieved on 1:50th scale models.

The bucket is nicely done and has plenty of detail, including wear protection and realistic teeth. This bucket is much beefier than the previous R954 models and really helps to make the model look even better. The boom and stick are brand new castings and are fully operational, including flexible hydraulic hose detailing and lifting eyes on the boom.

The finish of the model is supperb, as is expected of Conrad The markings are very crisp and help to make the model one of the best Liebherr models to date.
